Control settings

Overview

The unit is controlled using the remote control. You can control it in these ways:

• Manual firing by holding down the FOG button

• Automatic fog bursts using a repeating timer

• You trigger a timed burst of fog using the “one-shot” timer

You can also set the fog output level using the knob.

Manual firing

Hold down the FOG button. The machine will produce fog until you release the

button.

You must hold the FOG button for one second or more. If you hold the

FOG button for less than one second, the unit will enter timer mode,

unless the timer is disabled.

If a long burst of fog is produced, after a time the fog output level will be

automatically reduced to keep the machine temperature within the operating

range. This allows continuous operation, so that the machine does not have to

stop and re-heat.

Setting fog output level

Set the knob to the desired output level while firing the machine. The fog output

level is always set by the current position of the knob, whether manually firing or

in timer mode.
